about ME

I am a licensed psychotherapist practicing in New York City. I received my B.A. from McGill University, and my MSW from the Columbia University School of Social Work. I am currently employed full-time as a Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor at the Community Healthcare Network, where I supervise a team of psychotherapists, in addition to seeing patients of my own. Previously, I was a staff psychotherapist at the Callen-Lorde Community Health Center in Chelsea, which serves the LGBTQIA community and individuals living with HIV. I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and was the leader of Callen-Lorde’s DBT team. I also maintain a private practice in the NYC area.

In 2019 I completed a two-year postgraduate training program in contemplative psychotherapy at the Nalanda Institute for Contemplative Science, synthesizing traditional Buddhist psychology and meditation practices with contemporary neuroscience and Western psychotherapy.

My clients’ privacy, safety and wellbeing are my highest priority. For that reason, I do not, under any circumstances, use any form of artificial intelligence (AI) during any part of the therapeutic process or my practice administration.
